We have decided to close
the restaurant portion of our facility, effective immediately. This was not an
easy decision for many reasons, the primary one being that we have developed
close ties with many of our wonderful patrons. It's difficult to say goodbye to
so many close friends. It is also sudden news to be sure, but it is difficult
to preannounce news like this without the risk of compromising our product and
service. And we weren't willing to take that
chance.
We intend to
rent out the President's Room and Chef's Room for private events such as
rehearsal dinners, corporate dinners and luncheons, and small wedding
receptions. Our banquet business will, in essence, be expanding as a result of
this change in our business model. That's the good news, and the ultimate
reason for this change.
